Privacy Policy
Eagle VPN (“Eagle VPN,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we process when we provide our VPN service, guest account features, subscriptions, advertising rewards, customer support, and service operations.
1. Information we process
- Device and account identifiers: a guest user ID created when you first use the app, hashed or pseudonymous device identifiers, operating system, app version, language, time zone, and basic device information. We use this information for guest login, restoring service status, preventing abuse, and delivering configuration.
- Network and grouping information: approximate country or region inferred from your public IP address, user group, and available server configuration. We use this to assign country groups, choose default free servers, configure ads, and provide regional pricing or availability where applicable.
- Connection events: connection success or failure, server identifier, server country or city, protocol type, error code, error message, event time, app version, and device type. We use these records to diagnose connection issues, monitor server reliability, and improve routing quality.
- Advertising information: ad network, ad placement, ad type, impression result, reward duration, and display count. Third-party advertising SDKs may process advertising identifiers, device information, and interaction data according to their own policies.
- Purchases and subscriptions: product ID, transaction ID, purchase time, expiration time, revocation or refund status, store environment, and signed transaction information provided by Apple or Google. We do not receive your full card number or payment credentials.
- Support information: messages you send to support, conversation status, replies, and necessary device or account context used to resolve your request.
2. Information we do not store
We do not store your browsing history, visited page content, communication content, DNS query content, or VPN traffic payloads. To provide VPN connectivity, servers necessarily process network traffic while a connection is active, but we do not save that traffic as browsing history.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide and maintain the service, authenticate guest users, validate subscription status, process purchases, assign server configuration, deliver advertising rewards, provide customer support, protect service security, prevent abuse, analyze reliability, and comply with applicable legal or platform review requirements.
4. Third-party services
Eagle VPN may integrate third-party services such as Apple App Store, Google Play, Google AdMob, Yandex Ads, Firebase, AppMetrica, or similar services. The actual services enabled may vary by operating system, country, user group, and backend configuration. These third parties process data under their own privacy policies and platform rules.
5. Retention and security
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including service operation, troubleshooting, fraud prevention, purchase verification, dispute handling, legal compliance, and aggregated analytics. We use HTTPS, encrypted reporting, access controls, least-privilege permissions, and administrative separation to help protect data. No network system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
6. International processing
Because Eagle VPN is an online service, information may be processed on servers or by service providers located outside your country or region. Where required, we use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information during such processing.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection regarding certain personal data. Uninstalling the app does not automatically delete server-side purchase records or support conversations. To make a request, contact us through in-app support or Telegram.
8. Children’s privacy
Eagle VPN is not directed to children under the minimum digital consent age required by applicable law. If we learn that we have collected children’s information without valid consent, we will take appropriate steps to delete or restrict that information.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our product, legal requirements, platform rules, or operations change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Important changes may also be communicated in the app or on the website.
10. Contact us
For privacy questions, data requests, or support issues, please contact us through Telegram: @freeMistVPN or the “Live support” feature inside Eagle VPN.
